Since 1992, Parchment has been the only literary journal devoted to contemporary Canadian Jewish writing. Over the years, we have published prose, poetry, drama, and creative non-fiction. From 1992 to 2009, Parchment was housed in the Israel and Golda Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Studies at York University. In 2010, the journal moved to the Department of English at Ryerson University, the academic home of Editor Ruth Panofsky. We are currently accepting submissions for our 16th annual issue – see Submissions for details.
